Dream Blouse.

It's fall, which naturally means I'm feeling especially anxious about what to wear. I feel like I should somehow come up with the best outfits now, that I've been saving a few dresses and things for right now, before I'm encapsulated by the same old winter coat for four months at a time.

I've been trying to be a little more discerning about the clothes I'm buying this year, really asking myself how often I think I'll wear what I'm buying. I tried to start a little self-shopping ban, but then fall started and a whole bunch of peter pan collared sweaters popped up in stores. The method I'm trying to stick with is more along the lines of Do-I-Love-It, rather than how practical is it or what will I wear it with. 

This blouse though, was easy to justify, because I fell in love with the second I saw it. Even more exiting was that it fit--90% of the time vintage blouses are either way to small or just a smidgen too large for me. If only I could find this in dress form, then I'll have really found my dream item of vintage.

This is also pretty quickly turning into my autumn, and probably winter, uniform. I've acquired a nice little pile of pleated wool skirts since last year and I've been feeling my absolute best in them, paired with a little sweater and sometimes knee-socks, because I still can't quite let go of my uniform from school days.
