Little Bunny Foo Foo.

Easter Sunday is great because it means you get a new dress and wear as many pastel colors as possible and everyone just thinks you're being festive instead of ostentatious.

Dress: Custard Heart Vintage, Jacket: Vintage, Bag: Vintage, Shoes: Thrifted, Tights: J. Crew, Hair flower: J. Crew

I expect you'll be seeing more of this funny little jacket in the coming weeks, it's one of the few in my collection (I don't know, I keep buying cropped jackets in vintage stores that clearly once belonged to a set from which the dress is long since separated, thinking I'll wear them with everything and then I wear them never or hardly ever) that I can picture with at least two other dresses. It's made of a scratchy material that makes a really horrendous noise but look at the funny sleeves! And the print has hot pink in it, and impressionistic flowers!

My favorite thing about this whole Easter-egg ensemble though, is this shoes. The heel is scalloped and they actually, in a miracle of the kind I have not witnessed in an age, fit my ridiculous feet. Also they were twenty-five cents. I can barely conceive of it! I have that feeling where I want to wear them with every outfit, but I'm afraid of wearing them to smithereens.

Happy Spring!

    1. I do! I keep meaning to make a tutorial or something, but I just do it on dry hair (I usually wash my hair once a week and use a curling iron on it the day I wash it, and then I rag it the rest of the week)!

  7. I adore your ensemble! It's so delightfully colourful!

It's so hard to find nicely cropped jackets and cardigans to wear with vintage full skirted dresses. I need to take a leaf out of your book and keep buying them when I see them! :)

  15. Gorgeous shoes - and a bargain to boot! And love your dress. Everyone seems to have been wearing tulips for Easter. Florals doesn't surprise me, but I was never aware of there being so many tulip patterns. But I got myself a new tulip dress which I posted about yesterday, and I've just seen that the Fiercest Lilliputian wore a tulip blouse on her blog. They are the flower for early April, I guess! And I like that all the patterns/outfits are all so different despite the tulip theme.

    1. The funny thing is I am so very allergic to tulips! My mother is too! It's really weird. My city is kind of way into tulips, we even have a festival for them that I've never been too except once when I had to work an event at the park a few days before it, and I was so sick afterwards, I had the worst sinus infection! So I figured this way I get to enjoy them without getting sick.

    1. I had to grab it the second I saw it. I think I might have thought for about half an hour and then took the plunge. There is another dress on etsy from another seller that is sort of from the same family, and someone snatched it out from under me, I'm really hoping I see it on another blogger soon though!
